Tyholttunet Barnehage is a private kindergarten, owned and operated by "Tyholttunet Barnehage SA". Due to our former location in Tyholt, we have many children and grandchildren of SINTEF employees, in addition to external applicants. Most live in the surrounding area and mostly belong to the Berg, Eberg and Strindheim school district.

The parents tuition is NOK 1200,- pr. month, in addition 450,- for food pr. month.

We have a maximum enrollment of 42 children, ages one to six years. The children are divided in three classrooms, named Henrik (children 1 - 2 years old), Rasmus (children 2 - 3 years old) and Ludvig (children 4 - 5 years old). Each classroom has a staff of two teachers and one assistant.

Opening-hours are 7:30 - 16:30

Tyholttunet barnehage is situated at Kommandovegen 15.

Enrollment

In Trondheim applications for daycare places are processed one time a year.

The Daycare Center participate in this countys process. Applications for a place is made through a web-based applicationform no later than the first of March, for the daycare year which starts August 15 through the following July.

Otherwise, admission is only possible when places are available. Children who have been accepted are secured a place until they reach school-age.
